My name is Lital Shvarts, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing telehealth services throughout Los Angeles and across California. I specialize in working with adults and couples facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, PTSD, trauma, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, substance use concerns, and personal growth issues.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can gain deeper insight, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
Background
Originally from Israel, I provide psychotherapy in both English and Hebrew, allowing clients to engage in therapy in the language that feels most comfortable and authentic to them.
I earned my doctoral training from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with a concentration in Health and Neuropsychology. Throughout my clinical training and professional experience, I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, developing extensive expertise in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and attachment-related concerns.
My diverse clinical background has equipped me to work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Treatment Approach
My therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Transpersonal Psychology, Attachment Theory, and Humanistic principles to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe that healing occurs within the context of a safe, authentic, and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
Through this process, I help clients develop the capacity to regulate and tolerate difficult emotions, deepen their emotional awareness, express themselves more openly, and communicate their needs with greater clarity and confidence. Together, we explore underlying patterns, unresolved experiences, and emotional barriers that may be contributing to distress, creating opportunities for insight, healing, and personal growth.
As clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences, they often develop a stronger sense of self, greater emotional resilience, and healthier ways of relating to others.
